"Charles R. McKone received the William L. Steude Ethics and Civility in Local Government Award, an award bestowed by the Michigan Association of Municipal Attorneys. The Steude Award honors individuals whose achievements have benefited local municipal officals, employees, attorneys and individuals generally, and whose actions have enhanced the image of local government. Mr. McKone has served as attorney for the City of Linden and several other Michigan municipalities. He was introduced by Linden City Manager Dale Martin."

Chuck handles municipal legal affairs for the City of Flushing, Village of New Lothrop, City of Linden, and the City of Durand, and works on special projects for Hazelton Township.
Chuck is also an experienced trial lawyer. He regularly represents clients in both State and Federal Courts. He is very active in the Public Corporation Section of the State Bar of Michigan, holding a council member seat, appearing as a speaker on behalf of the Section, and serving as chairperson.
