Ed has over 40 years experience in trial practice including civil, probate and municipal law. He started practice as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Genesee County. In his trial practice, he has represented numerous insurance carriers. He began representing the City of Flushing in 1967. He also has developed an extensive estate planning and probate practice. He has been a Circuit Court Case Evaluator/Mediator since 1978.

Ed has also been active in civic, community and church activities. Serving his Township of Flushing, he has been on the Metropolitan Alliance, the Flushing Township Planning Commission and is now Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals. He has been active in his church as a Senior Warden, Vestry Member and as a Lay Reader. He currently serves as Chancellor of the Eastern Diocese of Michigan. He is City Attorney for the City of Flushing, Michigan. He is a member of Rotary International. He has also been an active speaker on legal matters before various community groups and at Michigan Bar Association ICLE seminars.
