The Firm was originally established in 1969 as Ransom and Henneke. Over the years the Firm continued to grow and presently is known as Henneke, McKone, Fraim & Dawes, P.C.

The Firm has been rated "AV" from the time of its inception by Martindale-Hubble, a national legal directory that also undertakes to rate lawyers and law firms as to both legal ability and integrity. Ratings are based on both peer and Judicial evaluations. "A" represents the highest rating obtainable for legal ability and "V" represents very high integrity.

The Firm was listed in Best's Recommended Insurance Attorneys.

The Firm numbers among its clients both nationally known corporations and insurance companies, local municipalities, local businesses and individuals. The Firm services clients throughout Michigan, including Genesee, Lapeer, Shiawassee, Saginaw, Bay, Midland, Oakland and Livingston Counties.

All members of the Firm are active in Bar Association activities, civic and community affairs, and the pursuit of continuing legal education.
